Expat Utopia – Affiliate Agreement
This Affiliate Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in the Expat Utopia Affiliate Program and is entered into between Expat Utopia (“Company”) and the approved affiliate (“Affiliate”).
By joining or participating in the program, the Affiliate agrees to the terms below.
1. Independent Contractor Relationship
The Affiliate is an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or legal partnership between the parties.
2. Approval and Participation
Affiliate participation is subject to approval at the sole discretion of Expat Utopia. Approval does not guarantee continued participation and may be revoked at any time.
3. Commissions
Commissions are earned only on qualifying transactions tracked through the Affiliate’s unique referral link. Commission rates, payment terms, thresholds, and schedules are defined within the affiliate platform and may be amended by Expat Utopia at any time.
4. Disclosure and Compliance
The Affiliate agrees to:
Clearly disclose the affiliate or brand partnership relationship in all promotional content
Comply with all applicable advertising, marketing, and consumer protection laws
Follow the Expat Utopia Affiliate Guidelines
Failure to comply may result in:
Commission withholding or forfeiture
Suspension or termination of the Affiliate account
5. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates must not:
Make misleading, deceptive, or unlawful representations
Promote competing services in a manner that causes confusion or conflicts of interest
Engage in activities that may damage Expat Utopia’s reputation or goodwill
6. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, branding, content, and materials remain the exclusive property of Expat Utopia. Limited, non-exclusive permission is granted solely for approved affiliate promotion during the term of participation.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, the Affiliate must immediately cease use of all Expat Utopia promotional materials and links.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Expat Utopia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the affiliate program.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international commercial principles, without regard to conflict of law provisions, unless otherwise specified by Expat Utopia.
10. Modifications
Expat Utopia reserves the right to modify this Agreement or the Affiliate Guidelines at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any such modifications.
Expat Utopia Affiliate Guidelines
Welcome to the Expat Utopia Affiliate Program. These guidelines are designed to ensure transparency, brand alignment, and a positive experience for everyone involved.
By promoting Expat Utopia, you agree to follow the guidelines below.
1. Brand Representation
Affiliates must represent Expat Utopia honestly and accurately.
You may:
• Share your genuine experience or opinion about Expat Utopia
• Use approved brand assets, links, and descriptions
• Promote services in a way that aligns with our values of integrity, wellbeing, and support
You may not:
• Make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims
• Guarantee outcomes or results
• Misrepresent Expat Utopia services or pricing
2. Disclosure & Transparency (Required)
Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with Expat Utopia in all promotional content.
This includes stating that:
• You are part of a partnership, affiliate relationship, or brand collaboration
• You may earn a commission from referrals
Examples of acceptable disclosures:
• “This post contains affiliate links and I may earn a commission.”
• “I’m a brand partner with Expat Utopia.”
• “Sponsored/affiliate partnership with Expat Utopia.”
Disclosures must be:
• Clear and easy to understand
• Visible (not hidden in footnotes or hard-to-find pages)
• Included on websites, blogs, emails, social media posts, and videos
3. Promotional Channels
You may promote Expat Utopia through:
• Websites and blogs
• Email newsletters (opt-in only)
• Social media platforms
• Online communities where promotion is allowed
You may not:
• Use spam, unsolicited messages, or paid ads that impersonate Expat Utopia
• Bid on Expat Utopia brand keywords without written permission
4. Content Standards
All affiliate content should be:
• Respectful, inclusive, and professional
• Aligned with the values of the expat and international community
• Compliant with local advertising and consumer protection laws
5. Program Changes
Expat Utopia reserves the right to:
• Update affiliate guidelines at any time
• Review affiliate activity
• Suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply
